March for Babies 2008
It was an early and cold morning for the walk today, but SO gratifying. It was very special and such a testament to Lydia's legacy. We had 75 friends and family walking on Team Lydia's Grace. What a beautiful thing. We raised over $5600!! Praise God! I still don't know exactly how much since people were giving me money left and right this morning. Thank you to every, single one of you...who donated, fundraised, or participated and supported us and the March of Dimes in any capacity. You are all so amazing and we love you dearly!
Enjoy the photo album. We'll post our official team picture when I can access it.

I love the shirts you guys wore, the signs for Lydia, James, and Jake looked great too. Congratulations to you and your teams being able to raise so much money for such a wonderful cause.Antonette - Sun April 27, 2008, 9:00 am
Pastor Bill lifted our teams up in prayer (including James' and Jake's) before the start of the walk in South Bend yesterday. We were thinking of you all. It was windy as all get out here yesterday, and our starting/ending point was changed due to Senator Clinton showing up at the Cove. Congrats on the money raised!...Christopher LOVED the picture of Alex with Purdue Pete!(and so did I)
Did you see? Beth's team hit the $10,000 mark!!!!

It was a great way to get more awareness out and raise money for more reseach. I enjoyed being a part of that day. I know Luke and Helene had been looking forward to walking to honor Lydia. Thinking of James & Jake also!Emily - Sun April 27, 2008, 7:52 am
